Verdant Symphonies – The evenings are lengthening and the cows  are readjusting to daylight savings time.
April begins on an anglophone note.  This first weekend is filled with English events, book sales, theatre and a bilingual symposium on the translation of Shakespeare’s Sonnets at the Maison de la Poésie.
We send our Prayers to the Japanese people.

Weekend Book Sale – On Saturday and Sunday, 2nd & 3rd April, The American Library 10, rue du Général Camou 75007 On Saturday from 10am to 7pm.  On Sunday starting at 1pm.  Books go for 1€ and 2€.  Come, browse, and meeting other members of the English speaking communities.

SPECIAL EVENTS IN APRIL

On Saturday 2nd April, Journée Poésie de Langue Anglaise. Until 10th April, “L’Art du Rire” all about the universal art of laughing created and performed by Jos Houben at the Théâtre du Rond Point. Reservations. 01 44 95 98 21. This is a one hour show and not to be missed.

Monday evenings at 20, Jeannot Ribochon dans “Made in Sud-Ouest.” A One Man Show with Guy Louret. Enjoy an evening of stories and wit told with a delicious French South-West lilt as Jeannot Ribochon recounts his adventures, his trip to Marcel Proust’s living quarters in Cabourg, shares his opinions on politics, his ideas and his philsophical walks with cows.
